I wanted to reach out regarding the recent Pageant party. It was publicly announced and promoted, which naturally created the expectation that it was open to the community. However, I was removed
from the room and told it was private.
This contradiction is confusing and disheartening. If the event was intended to be private or invite-only, that should have been clearly stated upfront. Public promotion followed by selective exclusion sends mixed signals and undermines trust in community engagement efforts.
I’m hoping this was a misunderstanding, but I’d appreciate clarification. Transparency around event access helps foster a more inclusive and respectful environment—especially during community celebrations like Volunteer Appreciation.

Welcome to real life where fair treatment is a fantasy fairytale promised by mommy because she knew that the truth was too painful to tell her child.

Sir, I'm not asking for special treatment, I am Cleary stating everyone deserves fair treatment. And that’s not unrealistic. That’s leadership.

While I understand that presenters have a designated role, the framing of them as “elite socialites” or “nobility” is deeply alienating especially when long-time contributors are relegated to passive viewing. The metaphor of standing outside in the cold, watching others feast, sadly reflects the experience many of us had. It’s not just about access, it’s about dignity. Imvu users shouldn’t feel like second-class citizens during an event meant to honor their contributions.

After I was removed from @imvu pageant. I decided not to be discouraged and to enter the Greeter Volunteer Appreciation room. I was removed without warning or explanation, I have proof of my participation. What’s especially troubling is that this happened precisely when a group of visually curated, avatars entered the room.
This raises serious questions about the criteria being used to determine who is welcome. If appearance or perceived popularity is influencing access to volunteer spaces, that undermines the spirit of appreciation and inclusivity these events are meant to uphold.
I’d appreciate clarity on why I was removed and what guidelines are being followed. Volunteers deserve transparency and respect—not silent exclusion.

Only official presenters can actually join a live room.
Everyone else can still view the live room and participate in the viewer chat.
Presenters are the influencers and elite socialites of IMVU. They are important and enjoy special perks. Think of them as the nobility.
Think of this as being someone standing outside in the freezing cold while feeling hungry and looking through a window viewing a ballroom party. Inside it's warm and comfortable; rich folk are feasting, laughing and enjoying themselves.
