The latest IMVU Studio update is now available and brings new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
Major update to Category System and Selection
We are excited to announce that we are beginning to expose features to support the expansion of our category system, starting with this release! Then starting in January, your customers will be able to search for your products using new sub-categories on the Web, Desktop, and Mobile platforms. Now is the perfect time to assign new sub-categories to your products to enhance their visibility and searchability.
Single and bulk editing of product sub-categories can now be accomplished without republishing, from the Home screen.
Categories and new sub-categories are now available for selection from the product Info Panel in Edit mode.
Product tiles now show their subcategory instead of the generic top level category.
You can now sort products in Home mode by subcategory.
Other Improvements
Maximum tab count was increased from 4 to 6.
Added toast to signify drafts are being deleted.
Updating styling of checkboxes within Studio Home and Derive Modal.
Added a “Gender” filter within the Derive Modal.
Added a link to our official Discord within the “Links” section on the right panel in Home.
Show base derivables no matter what category you are in.
Bug Fixes
Resolved most use cases of the “INVALID ZIP ASSETS” error.
No longer doing a PID search against the Promoted section.
Product Attributes should be set correctly when doing “Submit as New”.
Resolved various use cases of the “invalid shop category” error.
Once again able to move pet products from Accessories to Pets.
Resolved use cases where toolbar buttons (Preview, Save, Submit) were duplicated.
