To troubleshoot IMVU Classic (IMVU Client), you may need to uninstall and re-install it. If you're on Windows, you should also clear the stored AppData (this will not delete anything from your account or avatar). Follow these steps:
STEP 1. At the lower right side of your screen, click the search bar that appears and directly type “%appdata%” without the quotation.
If you have an older version of windows, click Start, then Run then in the empty box that appears, type "%appdata%" without the quotation marks.
STEP 2. The AppData folder should appear in the results. Click on it.
STEP 3. This will show you the IMVU and IMVU Classic (IMVU Client) installation folders. Delete these two folders.
STEP 4. After deleting the folders, restart your PC.
STEP 5. Reinstall IMVU Classic by going to our download page.
