How to Buy NFTs on IMVU

You can purchase NFTs on IMVU with VCOIN in two ways: you can (1) visit the NFT Exclusives category in the Shop or (2) select a user in a Live Room who is wearing and selling an NFT on IMVU.

You can only buy one NFT Exclusive or Limited Edition NFT at a time. You cannot gift NFTs on IMVU, but you can gift VCOIN.

NFT Exclusives are unique, one-of-a-kind items which can only be owned by one person. Limited Edition NFTs are rare, collectible items which have a total quantity that is set and no more of that specific item design will be made afterwards.

When buying a Limited Edition NFT, the lowest priced NFT in the set will be displayed, and you can also see how many NFTs in the initial sale are remaining. You can only own one item from a Limited Edition NFT set at a time.

If the specific Limited Edition NFT that you are purchasing becomes unavailable before you finish buying, you will have the option to try and purchase an identical Limited Edition NFT in the same collection at the same price.

Buying NFTs on IMVU in the Shop on IMVU Mobile

Step 1: Go to the NFT Exclusives category in the Shop. You can filter by NFT products and find NFT Exclusives and Limited Edition NFTs based on their gold NFT badge and VCOIN price.

Step 2: Tap on the NFT you’re interested in purchasing to try it on and scroll down to read the description, total quantity, attributes, sales history, and other details. Click Buy Now to go to the checkout page.

Step 3: Once you’ve purchased your NFT on IMVU, you will receive a confirmation message, a receipt in your VCOIN Wallet, and a message once your NFT on IMVU is available in your inventory to wear.

Buying NFTs on IMVU in a Live Room on IMVU Mobile

Step 1: While in a Live Room, click on an avatar that has a NFT badge next to their name, which means they own and are wearing at least one NFT on IMVU. Tap View NFTs to see what NFTs they are wearing.

Step 3: Once you’ve purchased your NFT on IMVU, you will receive a confirmation message, a receipt in your VCOIN Wallet, and a message once your NFT is available in your inventory to wear.

Buying NFTs on IMVU in the Shop on IMVU Desktop

Step 1: Go to the NFT Exclusives category in the Shop. You can filter by NFT products and find NFT Exclusives and Limited Edition NFTs based on their gold NFTs badge and VCOIN price.

Step 2: Click on the NFT you’re interested in purchasing to try it on and scroll down to read the description, total quantity, attributes, sales history, and other details. Click Buy Now to go to the checkout page.

Step 3: Once you’ve purchased your NFT on IMVU, you will receive a confirmation message, a receipt in your VCOIN Wallet, and a message once your NFT is available in your inventory to wear.

Buying NFTs on IMVU in a Live Room on IMVU Desktop

Step 1: Hover your mouse over an avatar that has a gold NFTs badge next to their name. This means they own and are wearing at least one NFT on IMVU. Click on the gold badge to view the NFTs they are wearing.

Step 2: Click on the arrows to view the different NFTs they are wearing. Click on the info button to read the description, total quantity, attributes, sales history, and other details. Click Buy Now to go to the checkout page.

Step 3: Once you’ve purchased your NFT on IMVU, you will receive a confirmation message, a receipt in your VCOIN Wallet, and a message once your NFT is available in your inventory to wear.

Buying NFTs on IMVU using VCORE on the IMVU Website

Users who are eligible to purchase VCORE have the option to buy NFT using their available VCORE balance at the checkout page of the IMVU Website. Simply select VCORE as a payment method when buying NFT.

My state or country does not allow me to buy/withdraw VCOIN. If someone gifts me VCOIN, can I use that to buy and resell NFTs on IMVU?

Yes. You are only restricted to buying or withdrawing VCOIN, but if it’s gifted to you, you can use it to buy NFTs on IMVU. You will also have the option to resell that NFT.
