IMVU Creator Program: Quarterly Report, March 2022
Hi Creators,
Our Q1, 2022 Quarterly Creator Report shows that collectively your earnings have dipped slightly due to seasonality and Covid-19 trends, but are still well above 2019 levels.
CREATORS EARNING MONEY - Q1, 2022
In Q1 2022 (January through March), Creator payments dipped 6% from the previous quarter.
Here are comparisons between Q1 payments this year vs. previous years:
9% lower than Q1 2021
26% higher than Q1 2020
46% higher than Q1 2019
CREATOR PROGRAM MEMBERSHIP & ENGAGEMENT - Q1, 2022
New Creators joining the program dipped 4.8% from the previous quarter which aligns with overall trends.
New Creator membership, however, is 8.6% higher than the same quarter last year.
Engagement actually increased over the previous quarter, with 1.5% more Creators making products and 3.7% more products being created.
CREATOR OPPORTUNITIES AND UPDATES
3 New Features on IMVU Studio 1.4!
Product Image Generator - You now have greater control over your product images on IMVU Desktop and Mobile. Choose from an array of generated images with various poses and camera angles.
Emission - You can now add a glow effect to create products with more realistic lighting. Enable emission to create neon lights, glowing candles, and more
Iridescence - You can now add a real-time light refraction effect to make surfaces look more polished and dynamic as you rotate around it. Enable iridescence to create shiny metal surfaces, butterfly wings, and more.
Learn what scalers are, how they work, how to add a scaler to a mesh product or make a scaler-only product,. Plus a couple of principles you need to keep in mind during this process.
Summer Gift Wrap Submissions are Open through May 30, 2022
Submit your high-quality work for the entire IMVU community and get exposure as a Creator. Significant amounts of users send gifts daily, so this is a great opportunity to get your name out there in the IMVU world! Note that gift wrapping currently only shows for users who use Classic IMVU so Mobile and IMVU Desktop will not see it.

The sudden, massive drop in sales seen over the last month was more than just seasonal. I'm disappointed this still hasn't been addressed :(
