As of 3-26-2024 we have rolled out a fix for what was causing the issue. We have tested this fix on cases that were previously appearing broken after submission and it appears the issue is resolved. If you see any further issue please post here of email us at studio@imvu.com
We have identified the source of the issue related to broken skeletons, specifically in IMVU Classic, where the skeleton was experiencing distortion and causing interference with attachments. Action has been taken to reverse a recent change that was identified as the root cause of the broken skeletons, and this issue should no longer occur.
If you have submitted a product from IMVU Classic (or IMVU Studio and opened it in IMVU Classic) that appears out of position or distorted you can fix it by doing the following:
Open the broken product for edit in IMVU Classic Create mode (or IMVU Studio) and save it to create a local project folder.
Replace the skeleton file (XSF) with the one you used when you originally submitted the product (this is likely an ASCII text XSF).
To do this you can copy the XSF from the original project folder to the broken product folder and overwrite the XSF.
NOTE: You may need to change the name of the skeleton file if you still see the issue after resubmit or you can play it safe and change the name of the skeleton file from the get go.
The other way is to go to the 'config' tab and click 'Add .XSF' and import the originally submitted XSF.
Resubmit your product.

I have not made any products that it would affect but will let you know if it does happen again :)

Hey All, Just following up to see if anyone has run into this rotated/broken skeleton issue recently. We believe the issue to be resolved, but wanted to make sure no new occurrences have shown up. Remember that products that were affected by the bug need the original working skeleton reimported and submitted. Our fix is only for newly submitted products since we rolled back the change that caused the issue. Thanks!

I've done the re-submit a few times now and it's still not taking for one item. And the item happens to be the one IMVU is PAYING me for, so it's rather important. :[

@Drosselmeyer One of my products (PID 66747460) is not updating - even after clearing my cache, the bow is still showing in the wrong position. I replaced the xsf and resubmitted four products, the other three updated with no issue. The same xsf file was used for all four products. I also noticed that PID 66747460 has not re-entered PR. The three other products have been sent back to PR, this one shows the green "This product has passed peer review" banner.
