I'm having issues making a new item in Studio and getting the Scrolling texture animation to work. "Scrolling" seems to have zero effect.
I can edit objects with texture animations in Studio, after making them in Classic, and the texture animations work. But not on a new object in Studio.
I quite Studio and tried reloaded the item. Still no texture animations. I made an XRF to see if that worked, but to no avail.
I seem to recall mentioning this before. It's still a problem now.

Well, I may have misspoke. I am not sure I can say we don't officially support Cal3d since we do allow creators to import these files directly into Studio (and Classic). It is just that it is really hard to support Cal3d. Send me your XMF that does not work and I will have a look.

You have got to be F***ING kidding! No Cal3D? The foundation of IMVU??? I feel like you're shooting me in the face here. I can't get a version of 3D Studio any newer. This is the bedrock of my toolset. I can't get FBX to export with Physique. If I can't do Cal3D, I can't work on IMVU. You can not drop this support.

So, we don't officially support Cal3d anymore. In fact I cannot even obtain a copy of 3ds Max old enough from Autodesk that will run the Cal3d exporters. I am sorry to say, at this point there is no way I can troubleshoot the issue. I am glad you have a workaround.

I made a new object attachment object, so it's own skeleton and mesh. It's a new Unicorn project, so a pet. I was trying to make it from scratch in Studio. The animation was a scrolling animation for SPARKLES... but they wouldn't move. It was with Cal3D files, the same way I've always made items for IMVU.
The process worked just as it should in the IMVU Classic Editor. The texture moved and everything was ok. In fact, I was able to get a working Studio version just by making and submitting it in Classic, and then importing that new item into Studio. But I couldn't make it from scratch in Studio.
The PID for my test item is 67192127, but there's nothing to see. It works fine now, as I said.
You know, you can test this yourself. Literally make a cube and import the XMF file. Add a texture, try to make the texture animate. See it's not.
As I recall now, the last time I brought this up I had some confusion with offsets and assumed it was all my problem. But now I can see this has nothing to do with confusing the motion axis with offset, it really and truly does not move at all. If you've only tested FBX, you should look at the Cal3D import process more carefully.

Hi @MaxSMoke777, Can you provide some more info: Is this a furniture product? Do you have a PID? When you make a new item in Studio, what PID do you derive from? Are you importing FBX or individual Cal3d files?
