Can you add a Random option to the framerate for a Cycling animation? Much like any other animation, Plus and/or Minus a percentage would be helpful.
Also, how about a second open for just picking random frames from a Cycling animation, instead of just playing them in order? This was in There.com 20 years ago, but it didn't make it's way into IMVU. It's a simple option, but adds dramatically to the life of an object.
For instance, I've used Cycling animations to switch 2D images for facial expressions. If it could pick random frames AND display them at different speeds, the character would burst with new life.

Both would be great! I was thinking just texture animation, so it's just part of the model... but.... I'd love to have full texture control through commands. Can you set it so the materials swap though ensemble commands?
If I could switch a texture in a material slot on demand, through ensembles, I could do some pretty amazing stuff without bloating the models like I do now. At the moment, I have to hide and exchange entire geometry sections in order to change a texture map. It's a wasteful but necessary process.
Of course, if you could do the swap the materials, can you make certain the animation on any textures that have animation start at Zero? And set it so it won't loop if I don't want it to. (by default it would loop)
For Example:
Let's say I want to play an animation of a glowing gun barrel after shooting. I could do that with a frame animation, or by scrolling a gradient sheet sideways. But I would need them to start at the beginning and only play through once. Right now I can't control where the texture animation is, nor stop a texture animation at work.
In this case I'd animation it to start cold, quickly go to white hot (with a glow) and then slowly back to a cold-off-hidden status, before going back to default.
That is something I can't fake at all. I can't get any animation to return to the start on command. That's actually something that's stopped me from doing many effects. That would be a real top priority on my wish list:
The ability to play texture animationsfrom the starton command and not loop if it should only play once.

Hey @MaxSMoke777, Are you thinking for texture animation or action ensembles, or both? I like these ideas. Animation improvement is my focus for the year so this is perfect.
