I like the color transition from my original purple texture color to this studio blue color, but I end up loosing the textured heart I did, and it just blurs it out with the blue. How do I fix this?

Try setting the alpha value to '0' in the last one and the alpha value of the middle "blue" slot to '50' or less. This seemed to tone it down for me.
