I enjoyed the idea of being lazy and using the studio made black texture instead of adding in my own, but it doesn't work on Classic. So it's good on all the other apps, but on Classic it's black lazers instead of invisible (cancelled). I'm hoping maybe it's because the size of the black texture is too small?
Also, the right click menu list acts funny here in Classic's "Products in Scene" webpage.
Instead of displaying nicely like i listed up above, it just copies the address, so if I want to use the new update display, I have to copy the link from the page itself, which is confusing me because I thought it was the same. Did I mess something up?
Thx for the fluff!

@Drosselmeyer oh! so basically just redo it to help it reset. okok.
This reminds me of what I do with the shininess, as the default value it comes with doesn't seem to be recognized as existing, so I have to move the scale, preview, then move it back if that's where I wanted it, and it works. I didn't have to save it though until the end, like with the alpha test blending.

@Drosselmeyer I think you meant to say @DiamondBones This is not about the lighting problem in my room and not about the @LestatDeLioncourt his product.

@DiamondBones, This is a bug I just reproduced. :( The issue is a parameter is not getting set. Just to confirm what you did:
Derive
Add a solid black Studio generated 2x2 texture the diffuse and to the opacity map slots
Set the Transparency mode to 'Alpha Test'
Making any of the changes described here will not add weight to the product.
Lastly, I would not uniformly start setting the Alpha Threshold to 1. This may have undesirable results in certain circumstances. If anything it should be set to 0.5 and only adjusted when you need to bias the opacity map when an opacity map with shades of grey is used. As a temporary workaround until we get a fix out, I would suggest this:
Set the Transparency mode to 'Alpha Test'
Change the Alpha Threshold to any new value (could be 1)
Preview/Save
Change it back to 0.5
Preview/Save
Submit.

Ah ok! I had it like this.I will now change them to thisok, cool, it works! Thank you @LestatDeLioncourt ! So I guess I'll be adopting this habit from now on just incase any other meshes need it. Does it add any more weight to the product the more features I fiddle with ? I know the more particle replica thingies I add will add more weight, wondering if other features as well?
@Drosselmeyer so you say it may be due to something not being part of the original derivable mesh? Because I've never had to be so thorough with other products so far.

Hi @DiamondBones, So, the issue with lazer beams is because there is a property that is not getting set and is missing. The property is 'AlphaThreshold'. This can be fixed a couple of ways:
The first way, in Studio, would be as @LestatDeLioncourt suggests above. Really you just need to change the 'Threshold' value a bit and Preview. I suspect the 'AlphaThreshold' property was not originally saved with the product.
The second way, in Classic Client, would be to:
check 'Use Blending' for each of the materials you want to hide
Apply Changes
uncheck 'Use Blending' for each of the materials you want to hide
As for the "the right click menu list acts funny here in Classic's "Products in Scene" webpage." I do not understand what the issue is. What are you expecting to happen?

Hi @DiamondBones When you added the solid black to remove some of the laseer beams, did you use Alpha Test *and* set the threshold above the default .5 ???
