There is a dress that I like that has some accessories on it that I like. I wanted it to make it into an add on piece for another product. I tried to change it from top to acessory and it still did not let other products add on to it. So how can make a product that i derive from able to be layerable? I am still new to all this so it is a little hard for me to understand.

Also a second question I had was how can we download/open the xtf coding links from the project folders?

Adding to what @LestatDeLioncourt has said, It is currently not possible to make a layerable product from a derived clothing product. The process requires changing the mesh id of the mesh(es) and also possibly changing the overriding of body part ids. Currently, you can only add body part overrides, but not take them away or change mesh ids. We are working toward adding this functionality. Changing a product category to Accessory does not have any affect on the type of product it is. Accessories are actually a different type of product called an 'attachment' which get assigned to attach to a specific bone of the avatar skeleton as opposed to clothing products which have their mesh weighted to the avatar skeleton. I hope this helps.

Hi @ReineMere There is information and links to make clothing layerable in another post, https://help.imvu.com/s/question/0D54p00002D7nsGCAR/

It leads to changing a Clothing item into a Layerable product. Unfortunately, it refers to the Classic Client "Create Mode. The information there can be translated to the IMVU Studio.

I hope this helps...
