I'm trying to assemble an item in Studio (usually I would use old IMVU first), and I can't get animated textures to work. I've tried both scrolling and cycling, and nothing will move, no matter what numbers I punch in. I reloaded the item to see if that helped, and nothing happened.

It wasn't my issue. I tried to replicate the error and sometimes it would happen, and other times it wouldn't. I have no idea what the issue is or why it doesn't want to respond sometimes.

Could you send us an example PID that is showing the issue? Either here, or you can email us at studio@imvu.com
One thing to try that is known to be a bit confusing is the "frames/cell" value. This value holds on a cell for the number of frames you specify, so if you enter a high value it will hold for longer. (This may not be your issue, but I thought I'd mention it).

I was able to get the textures to animate by making XRF's in 3D Studio and applying them in Studio. It looks like you have to XRF's, or it won't animate the textures, no matter what you do in Studio.

It's worth noting that if I assemble the item outside of Studio and bring it in, it animates according to the settings of the Client Editor. But if I make something new in Studio and try to turn on texture animations, nothing happens.
