Hi @DiamondBones I think you just found a bug. If your asset is not being used, you should be able to delete it. And you can with all the assets except apparently particle json files. We'll get this fixed on the next release. Thanks!
BTW, you don't absolutely need to delete assets that are not used, as they do not count in the total KBs for your product. It's just a convenience if you want to clean up your project.
