0- Front Wall Layer Material is in Additive Blend Mode and popping through the Floor material below, instead of allowing the opacity map of the floor material cover it.

Looks how I want it in Studio, but doesn't come out that way when I try it on in Desktop Beta.

WOW ok, it's definitely Material 0 for the wall layer that's malfunctioning for me.

Classic: imageok, switched Additive Blending to Alpha Test with a Threshold of 0.3

Classic: imageDesktop Beta: (Went into file location to empty the Cache file)

NOPE! lol

I want to play around with the Advanced opacity settings, but without being able to see the results in Studio, I'm really not looking forward to checking for results by constantly clearly cashe while switching to Desktop Beta.

Thx for anything,

Dia

I do expect differences in graphics between all the platforms, but this seems more like features I've activated are not being read outside of studio.

Wait a minute... since when could we add a fully textured photo in Diffuse, imagethen add an opacity map to cut out shapes so the final image only displays the white parts of the op map,

imagewith Additive Blending on, instead of just Composite blending or just alpha?

Usually Additive Blending ignores the Opacity maps and rely on just the Diffuse Material Texture to map out everything to be "erased" with black colors, and lets the other colors glow with transparency.

I really don't think we will ever be able to get them all, exactly the same. This is due to the different ways, different devices display graphics.

Between Desktop and Studio, I believe they should match. Between Next and Studio or Mobile and Studio is a "roll of the dice".

Trail, Error & Fiddling will educate ourselves on how to get them close. I am sure some of our more skilled graphics artists can add to this.
