Is this the right place to report a studio bug?

I have found a repeatable "feature" - well the issue is OPERATOR ERROR I know lol. But it has caused me real troubles. My PgUp and PgDn keys are very close to my arrow keys. So when I am editing the "Search Keywords" list, if I accidently hit the PgDn (NOT when my cursor is already at the end of the list, interestingly enough, but somewhere inside the text) or the PgUp key, the app window flips out. It all moves to the left and I can't see anything on the left side anymore. The bar at the top, interestingly, is not affected. But I can't get to the mesh or materials etc. Moving the window, maximizing it, minimizing it, nothing makes the screen correctly redraw itself.

Every once in a while it will correct itself. However, whether or not it does, NOTHING is saved correctly anymore, even if I press the "save" button and it acts like it saves. Nothing actually saves. At this point the only thing to do is to close out and go home. Oh wait, I am home. Ok did I mention Operator Error? LoL (noob issues).

I don't have trouble in the other data entry boxes (only Name and Your Profit). Paging up or down just pages the info up and down and will change to another place of input. Interestingly, after the screen has flaked out, it will then work just fine, paging up and down like it should.

Anyway, now that I know about this, I am very careful to avoid the PgDn and PgUp keys.

But I think this should be an easy fix for you dear overworked programmers, so that's why I take the trouble to document this feature. Thanks for all you're doing. I'm sorry if this has already been reported - I may not know where all to look for the bug reports.

Hello @LestatDeLioncourt Thanks for your response and taking time to repeat my error! I did repeat as you said, with the "decorate" opening and closing. Also it did correct itself when I clicked on help>report a problem. Which I never followed through with. However, in both of these cases, when I click "save" it did save the changes I had done in the inspector tab, but none of the changes in "info" were saved. So I would say that even if it corrected the screen display, something is still not right. One thing I didn't try to do was go in and redo all of the info after the shear and before saving. In the meantime I'm very careful about my PgUp and PgDn keys now!

Hi @Lexique I can reproduce the issue with the inadvertently hit PgUp key. It slides everything off screen to the Left side.

On my screen, I found a temp workaround. I can see the "Decorate" Icon near the Top Right. Clicking that and then closing; at the least, allows me to keep working an restores the screen to normal. This is an issue and I bet @Drosselmeyer will write it up for us :)
