I put my diffuse texture for the eyes and set it as overridable, but only the left eye overrides. This is not a 2-Tone head, so I doubt it's related to the property of the head. I tried multiple times but it's still the same.
I would appreciate the fix.
Thank you.

A: It is going to depend on material IDs and right now you cannot change material IDs. They are fixed upon import of the mesh.
FYI: Overridable changes the order in which material textures are displayed for skin and eye materials:
OFF: Clothing, skin, avatar meaning:
if there is a material with ID 7 (skin) in the clothing product being worn, use that and not the skin product (if present) or the avatar skin
if there is a material with ID 3 (eyes) in the clothing (or head) product being worn, use that and not the eye product (if present) or the avatar eyes
ON: Skin, clothing, avatar meaning:
if there is a material with ID 7 (skin) in the clothing product being worn, allow the skin product (if present) to show
if there is a material with ID 3 (eyes) in the clothing (or head) product being worn, allow the eye product (if present) to show
Since for two-tone eyes there need to be two materials, one for each eye (and therefore two material IDs), one will be able to be set to Overridable and have the effect but not both because it is only going to effect the material with ID 3.

Yeah. I have encountered this too and have written a bug up about it.
I am still not 100% on how the two-tone heads are meant to work and what I am seeing in Studio and I haven't had a chance to investigate more than cursorily.

Wow, nvm, I cannot for the life of me lol
Infact, I was mistaken, was thinking of 2tone eye products, not heads. There's not even a material slot for the eyes o,o and I don't know how to put them in.

@Insoo & @Drosselmeyer Uncheck the Overridable button (remove yellow, click it so it turns grey)
Worked with both heads I tried from what y'all posted here. I added my own blue eye texture into the Diffuse material slot, and worked fine. When I activated the Overridable button, it revealed the brown eye I was wearing as an added inventory product.
I have the feeling this is what the Overridable feature is supposed to do for eyes, unless I'm mistaken and something else is supposed to happen?
This is really cool lol I learned something today lol Now I can force one of the eyes to stay wtv color I want and change the other with inventory eyes.
Q: Are we able to switch them around? In this case, make the R eye stay the same I add to the head, and let the L eye be changeable with inventory items?

The head PIDs you gave me are both two-tome heads. I am seeing two eye material IDs when I derive from them. The reason Classic updates both eyes is because Classic Client shares the texture between the two materials. I am noticing that only one of the eye materials is showing up in Studio (material id 0) when I derive. Eye material id 3 (which is the material ID for eyes) is missing. I will need to do some more investigation on this use case.

@Drosselmeyer But this issue is occurring across all heads. This is a different head(KD^POPPY HEAD V.3 https://ko.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=53094023), not a two-tone head either, but I have the same issue with it. This issue did not happen when using Classic Create Mode; changing the texture for the eyes always applied to both eyes. So I used Classic Create Mode to change the texture for both eyes for the Diane head earlier. But I believe it's going to be inconvenient to do this for every head. Would it be possible to make the eye texture apply to both eyes in Studio?

@Insoo This is an issue with the product you have derived from. Looking back through the derivation tree something changed between 'KD^EMPTY HEAD (F)' (PID:42010601) and the derivation 'KD^DIANE HEAD' (PID: 48770393) where the materials for each individual eyes have been separated. It looks like this was intentional to make this a head with "two-tone" eyes. The links in the description for 'KD^DIANE HEAD' (PID: 48770393) under 'COMPATIBLE EYES (FOR 2TONE VERSION)' brings up a product list of two-tone eye products derived from 'KD^DRV 2TONE EYES (F)' (PID: 1516907). So this behavior appears to be as expected.
