I don't know if anyone else is having this issue but I've attempted uninstalling and reinstalling studio multiple times trying to fix it. I can't save my work to projects to return to later. Everytime I do it gives me an error that the textures were unable to be saved and saves the projects. If I reclick on the project to open it, all the textures that I added are removed and set to white. I've gone back to classic and will continue to do so until this gets fixed. I will share screen shots soon I'm just frustrated with it after spending almost all day yesterday working on a new home with 45 textures for it to be gone.

It may be helpful to test this on another PC, Laptop, etc. and see if the issue continues.

It may also be helpful to list your Computer Specs. So Staff can try to duplicate the issue. If you don't fell comfortable listing that in public, you may send it to [email protected] and make reference to this post and the issue you have.

Specs would include, Make, Model, Total Ram, Total Free Space, etc. In Windows, much of this information can be gathered in the utility DxDiag. The utility can be run in the search bar and a report generated there in the utility via the "Save All Information" button. It generates and easy to send, use text file with system information.

No. But even with it off it worked for two items and then started having issues again with taking pictures and getting anything done. Super frustrating.

After install of Studio, can you turn it back on again?

Turning it off worked. Thank you. So weird how programs can be so finicky like that

@JustinWallace When you uninstall, do you reinstall right away after? or do you let it rest first?

AVAST has had issues in the past. @JustinWallace , can you right click the icon in the tray and pause it to test?

It jumped to save the post before I could post the rest... :/

I know there are two folders left over after uninstalling.

One is your projects folder. One is settings, etc. for Studio.

  1. Uninstall with the Studio Uninstaller.
  2. Backup & Copy any needed Assets you need from the Documents/IMVU Studio Projects/CreatorNumber Folders. Delete the Folders
  3. Type %appdata% in Windows Search wait a few seconds and press Enter. Find the imvu-studio folder.
  4. Click once and press delete on the %appdata%/imvu-studio folder.
  5. Download a fresh copy of the Studio Here: https://create.imvu.com/imvu-studio-beta/

Please note. every Step is Important. Completely Delete Both Folders mentioned above.

I do hope this helps...

Hi @JustinWallace I would try the complete uninstall and removal of hidden folders. The test on a smaller project before investing the time. You can also import your .CHKN file from Classic and save as a test.

This process has helped many others...
