How do I derive body scaler meshes in studio without the Debug2 Tab for size adjustments?
+
How can I adjust the Additive Blending so that it looks the same in studio as it does in the rest of the platform?
I'm looking for the scaling adjustment features in the classic clients DeBug2 tab that is present for items there, but not in Studio? Also, I'm looking for a proper preview so I'll know how my product will look in the new platforms 2D mode, ex: Additive Blending doesn't work, so I want to learn what I need to do to it to let it function as intended.
Links or any words would be great!

Okay, what I found is this... If I load a test product in the Classic Client to inspect it, then I edit it in the Studio to add Additive Blending, save and resubmit. . . It still shows the same in the Classic Chat without Blending until I Clear the Cache in Classic and try it again. The Additive Blending works as intended for me in both the IMVU Studio, Desktop and the Classic IMVU Chat. Did I miss something? If so, please give exact steps so I may follow them.
I do know there are some features you cannot "Mix" together. Mixing Shininess and Self Illumination for an example, one overrides the other. The same with Vertex. I think iif you add Additive it will override some features, too. This is just something to play with in order to get used to what works with what.
Try Cleaning the Cache inbetween for testing and see?

I am going to play with this a bit as my understanding is the new added features won't work in the Classic Chat but old features should still work in all chats. Compatibility ? More soon...

It looks like this in the client, mobile & desktop beta chatrooms. So I don't get it. (Additive also disactivates while trying it on in shop on desktop beta, etc)

I remember studio had a feedback section where we could upload pics of our issues and ask them questions, but i don't remember how to find that again, it always showed up by accident because I didn't understand what was going on.
I was playing with these new settings a lot but I couldn't see the changes that would effect 2D. Looks great in studio and all chatrooms in beta, mobile, and the client, but not for 2D. It's like the additive effect isn't applicable and reverts back to the original image as if i neve applied additive in the first place. Is there something I can do to adjust this? or do i need to change and just avoid using additive blending so that it looks proper in 2D also?

Hi @DiamondBones There is a helpful video on how to scale products in the Studio. It is a great upgrade compared to Create Mode. Check this video, IMVU Studio Learning Session 5
I have not had issue with the Additive Blending. I do know many platforms show things differently depending on many factors. There are some explanations in this post here: https://cc.imvu.com/s/question/0D74p000002Ww06CAC/ Also know when using Additive Blending changing the settings for the Material will make it look different. Test & Play with "Self-Illuminate", "Vertex Color", etc. If using an Opacity on the Material click the 3 Dots to adjust the Transparency and how it is affected by other transparent materials.
If noting helps with the Additive display issue, you may document a "bug" with PID number(s) and some snapshots, I am sure staff will look into the issue.
Thanks for the post :)
