Whenever I try to create a thumbnail in the IMVU studio the preview is always super tiny and it's unusable.
I'm trying to develop a new mesh using the blender add-on.

Hi @BrittneyFireHawk, We purposely removed the feature in the last release. We found a loophole that allowed derivers to use the texture features to steal other Creators’ texture maps. We have restricted the use of texture editing to the owner of the product only.

@FlyFixer, This is a great idea! We are in the process of adding a few features to allow users to add and remove nodes from products. This seems like it would be along those lines. I will write it up as an improvement.

Hi @FlyFixer My understanding is Staff is planning to fine-tune the camera system and include the Icon camera positions. I do not know if cameras will be added inside the Studio.
Currently with this "Camera Zone" "workaround", the Camera Nodes are added inside the Mesh before Export by the Mehser. The technique for adding these nodes depends on the Mesh Editor a person is using.
I hope this helps...

Thanks so much! Are there any plans to add this as a button in future to add these two nodes in with a button or something?
Also is this where I add nodes?
Because I can't get it to work myself.

This may help others who are not using the IMVU Tool Kits, etc.
In your 3D software, place 2 nodes in with the Furniture. One called "Furniture.Camera.1" and the other called "Furniture.Camera.2".
Place these on the 2 corners where you want the camera to focus on.
Ex: The 2 corners would be the Front Lower Left corner, and the Back Upper Right corner
When you add this to your furniture product, you should see a new category when making an image called "Camera Zone"
Hope this helps ...

I have had this too. Staff responded in another area of the Studio Discussions...

We have implemented a new feature that you can try out to try to solve your issue.
In your 3D software, place 2 new nodes, one called "Furniture.Camera.1" and the other called "Furniture.Camera.2". Place these on the 2 corners where you want the camera to focus on. (the 2 corners would be the Front Lower Left corner, and the Back Upper Right corner)
You should see a new category when making an image called "Camera Zone"
I hope this helps as a solution for now while we work on a more permanent solution, let me know if you think this workflow is helpful.
Staff may request you email the zipped contents of your project to studio@imvu.com for further investigation.
I have used the "new node" addition on several furniture projects with success. You can add a furniture node (or some Node kind) and rename it as follows...
Furniture.Camera.1
Furniture.Camera.2
Furniture.Camera.3
Furniture.Camera.4
(up to 4 camera nodes to a Model)
I hope something here helps...
