Hi @Drosselmeyer I sent the Cal 3d Files. If you need a sample mesh, I can recreate one and email it.
I think I explained the .XSF and what is happening in the email I sent today :)

Still going through backups from years past to find this. Do I need to keep looking or did Engineers see the issue?

I will send a sample mesh (CAL3D) and an explanation of what is going on. I know this is not the only mesh doing this but I don't have time to go on an "Easter Egg Hunt" to find them. I know what the issue is... :)

@LestatDeLioncourt, Ah! Yes, I noticed this too and have written up a bug ticket on it. Do you have other PIDs that are not derivations of 20795794 that have spot lights that appear inverted? It might be useful to have more than one to compare what is happening.

If you will notice, the above side-by-side snapshot shows the same lighting.

Hey @Drosselmeyer Thanks for the info, but...This is not the fix I need :(
All this seems to do is give a false ambient light overhead. This is ruining the effect of my spotlight.
The Studio is not following the spotlighting on a 360x360 tangent. Instead, the Studio is converting
my lighting effect into a Positive Z Axis. My Spot Light is in the "Southern Hemisphere", as such.

Hi @LestatDeLioncourt, I thought I had replied earlier... but now I have. I looked into your room issue and you just need to turn off 'Local Ambient' in the Environment component Inspector panel. Local Ambient only affects how avatars are lit. It ignores the ambient uses the lights in the scene and colors found in the room at the current seat the avatar is on. That means that if you move the avatar from a blue area to a red area the avatar will appear to be more naturally lit (blue to red). Local Ambient is on by default because in general it makes avatars look more a part of the scene. In the case of where you want the avatar to be affected by the ambient color, just turn off Local Ambient.

@LestatDeLioncourt and @JanXuan, I am investigating... Can I get the PIDs or chat room URLs for these rooms?

Some of the derives on the room are by very well-known Creators.
I am getting complaints from hundreds! This needs to be fixed!

@LestatDeLioncourt I agree. I have the same happening in my room? Remember you visited and instantly left because you found it too bright. There is a big difference between classic and desktop client. It does get illuminated in classic too when visitors come with body lights which is annoying.
Here is the look in classic and desk top.
