For days now, when searching for DJ Lights in the imvu classic shop, almost always the same clothes appear. Why is that?
A few lights can only be seen on pages much further back in the shop.
For example, if you enter "DJ red Light", "DJ green Light" and "DJ blue Light" in the shop search at imvu classic, it almost always shows the same clothes on the first few pages.
This is frustrating for people who sell DJ Light
, because sales of DJ Light are decreasing accordingly.

I've noticed this too. I think a really simple fix could be maybe having a feature where if you add quotations around your keywords you're searching it MUST find products with those in the name. Perhaps a loose search would finding anything with a singular word in your search. Example,
DJ red Light: Finds,
DJ Room
Red Pants
Light Bulb
"DJ red Light": Finds,
DJ Red Light Set
Red Lights DJ Equipment
Something like this maybe, but for a platform all about searching I feel we could use better search features.

Thanks for the tips @LestatDeLioncourt (Veteran Helper)
I noticed it a lot a few days ago. In the past, if you typed "DJ blue Light" in the search, blue lights would also be displayed first. Other products, such as clothes, were rarely included. Now almost only clothes are shown and the lights come many pages later.
That's why I thought something had changed that maybe shouldn't have changed.
You can also read more often in the Bugs and Issius discussions that some people are currently having problems with the shop search in the Classic client.
Something must have made the shop search even worse :(

The IMVU search engines are confused by too much information. This has always been true.
You should get DJ-related things if you search "DJ" in the proper category. This is mostly true except for the Creators who used DJ in their Title, Description or Keywords *and* it does not relate to DJ. Some Creators add junk to their Text Descriptions that don't relate.
If you search "DJ Lights", you will get results for DJ and Lights and DJ Lights. All of this will be mixed. If you search for DJ Green Lights, you will get all things containing DJ, all containing Green, and all containing DJ Green Lights. All of this is in a mixed order.
IMVU Search Engines are very outdated. There needs to be a complete revamp of the Search Engines. We asked for this over 10 years ago and the response was nill...
