HI @PurrfectlyWicked​, Do you have 'Optimize Previews' on in the Preferences? We have had issues with this feature in the past. I want to eliminate it as a possibility. Thanks.

it did resolve untill today, then ive changed a wall texture and it keeps changing my floor texture, ive tried quiting and reloading but every time i try it keeps changing them all

@PurrfectlyWicked​, The fix has been released. You should shortly see a Studio update for version IMVU Studio 1.25.5. Let us know if this resolves the bug.

ty for this, mine is driving me insane!!! i just changed one texture only to save exit come back and its changed 6 others to same one...i so want to cry!!

@LestatDeLioncourt​, Yes you can go back to older versions, but you need to know the version numbers. The last release before the current was: https://creator-tool.imvu.com/creator-tool/win32/1.24.3/IMVU-Studio-1.24.3.exe

would anyone know how to restore the previous version of IMVU Studio please? id like to see if i can make it work untill the fix comes

Thankyou @LestatDeLioncourt​ ive never really used classic to create but very considering going to that instead, i totaly get IMVU wanting to push Desktop but sadly some stuff is just better old school lol, im praying the fix comes today im very nervous about messing around too much incase i lose my work,

In able to try and help with "working on something for a friend for the weekend".

We used to be able to go back to a selected version of Studio. Is this still allowed @Drosselmeyer​ ?

What we did was change the version numbers in two places on the download link.

Ex:

Currently: https://creator-tool.imvu.com/creator-tool/win32/1.25.3/IMVU-Studio-1.25.3.exe

Go Back: https://creator-tool.imvu.com/creator-tool/win32/#.##.#/IMVU-Studio-#.##.#.exe

I tried a couple of different combinations and got the result "file not found". Maybe I don't

know the exact combinations. I will download the "Fixed Version" on Monday and keep it for

some months.

If you use an older version of Studio, you load it, use it, and don't close or it will auto-update. I am not

sure what version to go back to. I have downloaded and saved some older versions but...

If you work on your projects in Classic, you can make them and import the saved .CHKN File into Studio to submit.

Save your .CHKN File in Classic, open the IMVU Studio and click <File> then <Open from CHKN> . Browse to your

saved .CHKN File :)

At least one of these things may help you get your friends projects this weekend :D

thankyou so much for reply, im kinda nervous to carry om any projects atm, i have 2 waiting and i cant do them untill i know it wont mess up, ive tried clearing cache, reinstalling, its not letting me change some textures, and not recognising ive changed anything now at all, i wish i could swap to classic to continue now it seems far more reliable!

I had issues tonight too. I am not sure but I think it may be my connection between IMVU and my location (through the Internet).

All I was doing was copying information (Material Text Names) between two products. I was trying to make my male and female versions with the same named texture materials for ease of derivation. I didn't have trouble as you described but, I did have an issue naming materials between PIDs 65418414 and 65429094

I would be curious if the issue you described goes away in the morning. As @DiamondBones​ always said, "Let it rest for a while" and it will work later...

ive given up for the night, its now decided it now will not change anything at all, its been perfectly ok before update today and its jus got worse

ive tried 4 rooms now and had same issue, lol ive somehow managed to finish but only after saving after each change and reloading

This was before and after i had added an edge...just example to show you, byt as you see even after id hit preview its stayed as is

hello the rooms i use are normally one below example room so not yet derived? so still with the numbered textures, ive tried uninstalling which fixed for a little while but just started again, the textures just do not change on preview

Hi @PurrfectlyWicked​, We would like to know the state of the product you were working on when this happened or when you see this behavior. This has been a very difficult problem for us to reproduce and your help would be greatly appreciated. Did this happen:

• After deriving from an existing room and changing textures?
• After deriving from the IMVU base 'Example Room' and importing an FBX and changing textures?
• After opening a draft room and changing textures?
• After opening a existing room PID for edit and changing textures?

And for any of these states did it occur:

• before or after saving?
• before or after previewing?
• after getting the Studio Update notification and choosing to update?

Does the issue occur at some point other point not covered here?

I know this is a lot of questions, but if we can pin point when this is happening it will greatly help us solve the issue.

these arches i keep having to change back, plus now every change i make does not show when i hit preview i have to save quit and reload, is it an issue with studio or mesh?
