Hello, I don't remember seeing this problem and I am trying to determine if it is my own situation or if it is a more general problem. I am -trying- to do more peer review - I see the concerted campaign to do so. Anyway, I see that the item is provided, and then I get to choose web or classic peer review. I have never come across an imvu+ product that I know of. Are they sent through peer review the same way? And is there a way that makes sure that imvu+ products are only reviewed on the web since imvu+ specific items are invisible in classic?

Now here is my real problem. After a small amount of web peer reviews, usually 4 sometimes as much as 7, it breaks. Meaning, when I click to go to the web review, and then click to go back to vote, now there is an entirely different product on the page. I have a few times tried to vote without realizing this. Fortunately, I haven't been successful in this, and imvu tells me I need to be logged in. Which I AM!! The only way to fix this is to completely close the browser and start over. So the time that I've taken to view that particular item was wasted time. And this issue has happened always for web reviews, but never for classic reviews. I can review in classic as long as i can endure it, and have never had such problems. And so I'm using the same browser - chrome - but never have trouble with classic and always have trouble with the web peer. I've tried to change many things to see if the problem is on my end. But so far no luck in getting better results.

It sounds like a bug with Chrome & Next. I have no issue with Firefox if you want to use it as a work- around until Staff follows this. Was it @RigsK that was working with the introduction of the Next Peer Review? I cannot remember :/

Thank you for your responses, @LestatDeLioncourt  and @cbmvb ! Lestat, I repeated this problem on both Chrome and Edge, both of which are up to date (Windows 11 personal 64bit). It only occurs on the Next peer review. Cbmvb, you may be on to something. At first I thought it was because I took too long, so I tried to work more quickly. But it still did it. But since the web peer review is having to go "back" to the product page, if the product is not actually available anymore, it just shows me another product, but unfortunately it doesn't allow me to continue with the new product either. Because it doesn't start at the beginning of the peer review for the new product - it starts as if you've already reviewed the product. What you wrote does make sense. To me, then, this is a "bug". Lestat, if you can repeat this problem, then for sure it's a bug! Thanks for your help.

I have seen this randomly with Next Peer Review. The issue is that the browser page changes when you view the item on the web via Next. When you go back to vote, every so often it's a different item. If you look via Classic, then the web page doesn't change so you stay on the same item.

I have no idea if this is the reason, but I am wondering if in those cases, someone else has happened to review the item at the same time, cast a vote, and their vote was the last vote needed? At that point the item is no longer able to accept new votes in peer review so it won't display again when you leave the review screen? Then, there is still a glitch in that it presents the opportunity to cast a vote on something one has not actually reviewed?

I am just taking a guess as to what is causing this. I have seen what you describe several times but randomly, not after so many votes.

Hi @Lexique

  1. What Web Browser are you using?
  2. Are you using the Classic Peer Review or the Next Peer Review?

I want to test with you, in the same manner to reproduce the issue.

Thanks
