Cannot update opacity maps on Studio. It updated once, and then it's stubbornly displaying the first updated map no matter how many times I replace it with a new and different one. So I gave up, moved back to Classic to create the pants because Classic works fine, and later I'll import it to the Studio for additional effects.

@ChicByTrinity @Droll Thank you for the heads-up! The issue you're seeing should have been fixed with the 1.18.1 IMVU Studio release. Let us know if you're still seeing problems. For more details on the latest IMVU Studio update see https://create.imvu.com/articles/studio/imvu-studio-release-notes/. Hope that helps!

Sorry, I meant to say I only use STUDIO when absolutely necessary!

Yes, this happens to me too! This is because of the name of the file, if the name of the file is exactly the same, the map doesn’t update. This means you either have to:

A) Create new names for each opacity map you save and upload, but I’ve noticed that it affects ALL maps/textures to varying degrees & results in a messy filing system as you get lost naming your files _1, _2, _23 and so on..

B) Create most of your textures in IMVU Classic, then switch to IMVU Next and hope and pray that the product looks the same, then work on the textures/maps that I have to add in IMVU Next.

Currently I stick to option B for whenever I make something, but I still hate the way avatars submitted on IMVU Next NEVER end up working on classic! So for now I only use classic when absolutely necessary.

Hi @ChicByTrinity If it's okay with you, would you mind posting the PID so others can try to recreate the issue?

It may also be helpful to the team if you use the "Report a Problem" under the pull menu "Help".

Thanks a bunch :)
