HI! today I've become a creator and I am working on making a crop top. So I derived the bella Crop top and made those textures like this. But when I try to upload them in my inspector page, I can't see them. It is the original version that I only can see. What's the problem?Image is not available

As far as I am aware all names are "case-insensitive", i.e. capitalization is ignored. This is absolutely the case for Windows OS.
Spaces are okay, but historically not a good idea for filenames [on Windows], but I am old school and tend to name all files with an underscore '_' for word separation.
I have created a task to get definitive answer from engineering on what are valid characters for various assets and will be putting together a CEC page for this info.
Thanks @LestatDeLioncourt!

More work, huh? Sorry.
I am 99% sure the basic file naming conventions for assets would be very similar as for the Linux and Unix file naming.
With the exception... I would NOT name Assets with the name and different capitalization. File naming of different
assets such as: vivek.xaf, Vivek.xaf, VIVEK.xaf is NOT recommended for assets in the same product.
For safety, we could follow the old-school Unix, these characters for file naming should be okay with no issues, ever.
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
1234567890 . - _ [ ]
Spaces should not be used. Also, I would keep file names shorter that 14 characters long.
All of this aside, it would be great to have a page to refer to in the Creator Education Center with definitive character use.
If people find they can use "this" or "that" I would think it should be at their own risk. May work today but... ???

This is where I get confused as well. Why make anything easy :D ? There is no formal name for the subset as far as I am aware. I will check on the list of "valid" ASCII characters.

Thanks @Drosselmeyer This is where I get confused. I find not all ASCII Characters work for Filenames and Triggers in the Studio nor Classic. It appears to be a subset of the ASCII characters. I was wondering if there was a formal name for the subset ...
I was thinking if we had a "Published List" of some kind and maybe added it to the Creator Education Center, it may help more peeps :D

Also speaking of file naming conventions. Is there a common standard we should use?
I thought it was the English Keyboard Characters with the use of alphanumeric characters, underscores, hyphens, and periods.
It seems there would be a "formal" name for that character set :/

Hi @Seolyi, What are the names of the textures you are using? I cannot quite tell from the screenshots ^^ but it looks like they may be Asian characters? Are you getting an error when you Preview? Something like this:

Those should work. I would remove those as others my "borrow" your artwork, though. LOL
This is the long thing to test but if you would try, please.
Complete Studio Uninstall and Reinstall:
I know there are two folders left over after the regular uninstall on Windows systems.
One is your Projects Folder. One is Settings, etc. for Studio. Clean out all old Studio folders.
Uninstall with the Studio Uninstaller.
Backup & Copy any needed Assets from the Documents/IMVU Studio Projects/CreatorNumber Folders. Then Delete the Folders.
Type in this %appdata% in Windows Search wait a few seconds and press Enter. Find the IMVU Studio folder.
Click once and press delete on the %appdata%/imvu-studio folder.

[Archived]Hi @Seolyi What happens if you Save your work and then reopen the Studio? Does it show then?
If your materials are gone, try re-applying them again and see what happens.
If the latter works, try turning off the Auto-Update Assets and turn off the Optimize Previews.
These settings are under the File > Preferences.
