I have a question, and I have asked this before, how long do you wait for the peer review process? Now, I was advised to file a ticket after 48 hours. For the past several months, 99 percent of my submissions go way past the 48 hour mark. Today I submitted a ticket on two rooms and was informed that "Thank you for contacting us regarding your concern. I'm Prence, I will do my best to provide assistance.

We noticed that some creators are taking advantage of this process by contacting us to bypass the normal process of Peer. To observe fairness, we are no longer accepting peer review request approvals.

Don’t worry, almost all products in Peer Review are processed in less than 48 hours. Please allow the normal course of our review process to finish for your product to be showcased on our shop."

Ok, when do I ask for them to get my items out of peer review, the longest that I have waited was six days. A few times, I have just resubmitted these items, and they were passed in peer review almost immediately. At nearly one hundred percent of not passing peer review in 48 hours, to be honest, I feel like am being singled out. What do you do when a week goes by and it hasn't passed? One or two items, I could see waiting, but when almost one hundred percent of my items are in peer review over 48 hours, I have to ask, did they put some kind of lock on my submissions ? I really have no idea what to do, except I guess screen shot the time of submission.

One of the first groups to get into is Happy Hipsters, they have classes, and they also have ways to build things, like blender, and the classes are free.

Just responding to something I read

Basically I say to anyone going to Second Place Life...

"Good luck and thanks for the extra sales I get paid for here on IMVU since you are gone."

It is not just about the dev stuff, and what you said about textures being stolen, I have had that happen more times than I care to count in IMVU. Some of my textures were even found on other sites, and I managed to get them all taken down except for one, and I don't speak Russian. I do get it, but so far I have been enjoying the roleplay, and they have gone to mostly mesh avatar system. I didn't say that I was leaving completely, but many times, my submissions in IMVU went over by a far amount, and I would just send them a note saying,, "hey, it has been a while, can you fix this", at least twice I was accused of trying to push my submissions through early. So I started making sure to screenshot, log, and pull the info from the screenshot showing when it was submitted. When you have to do that, you are just not having fun anymore. I also like to or did try to release my items to fall at certain times, like on the weekends, and the last year that never happened. Several times it never even appeared in the catalogue, and yes I would go back about 200 pages, and cross reference. Several times my submissions where held up for bogus reasons, and had to be resubmitted. There is going to be toxic people everywhere, and talentless hacks who steal, but when you have this much frustration, you just need to take a few months and do something else. There are quite a few people who dev for both,in fact I rp with one of them, and that person is a very respected and high level dev, I won't share their name, that is their secret or not so secret to tell. However that is what I am going for, eventually, but not now, I am still burned out with what has been going on with IMVU.

As for more cash for you, that is great, to be honest, I was thinking about actually selling some of my textures, and putting others out their for free. If IMVU had more staff like you, I wouldn't be on sabbatical, you are amazing, and kind, and professional, but, well, shrugs...

If you want to just try it out, private message me, or not, just know the offer is open.

Hi CauriHawk..

How weird is this.. as soon as I complain and say will stop paying for VIP what do you know.. what I waited 4 days for passed.. hummmm .. but I noticed some creators I know get their things passed within a few HOURS where others takes days.. Hard not to believe special treatment for some where others get left behind.. Maybe it is time to try another site.. IMVU use to be good.. not anymore.. they cater to noobs that pay zero and phone apps .. If that's how IMVU treat paying members and long term ones.. time to move on .. Half have left already and where their money is they pushing away .. Will finish this pay period and cancel VIP.. Most sales are just promo anyway and save my money

I feel the same way, if you haven't tried Second Life, maybe give that a shot, the money is way better, and actually a lot of other things are way better. I'm definitely not running into the issues, like the ones we are having with submissions there. I have to be honest, I know it is paranoid, but I think they do give preferential treatment, maybe even some of the devs also work for them. Without knowing that, and being tired of the bs, I just can't do it, anymore, at least, not right now. If you do go to SL, send me a message in IMVU, and I will give you my avi name, and try and hook you up a bit.

This is so annoying.. On day 4 ( four ) and hairs still not passed peer.. It's just hairs that are GA for goodness sakes.. took 3 full days for a outfit but I seen someone I know submit a number of items and done in hours.. I am so close to closing shop and not paying VIP anymore.. Between things NOT working why are we paying for this.. 4 to 5 days is way to long.. I still believe IMVU picks who goes first not who submits .. if don't get better.. I will cancel VIP and just use what I have.. I have zero patience left now.. I can find better use with my monthly payments than get annoyed with a game

I have found it has definitely slowed down a lot...but inconsistently. I sometimes submit similar products...like 4 hair meshes and one passes through fast but the others took quite some time. I am not sure if reviewers have been turning things down a lot more or not. I also submitted a rock mesh that when through within an hour, but most are up for days.

I would please like clarification on the contacting Staff for Peer Review time limits and contacting staff.

What I do and have always been told is...

"If your product still has been in Peer Review over 3 days (with no editing), Discuss it with IMVU Staff in a Help Case. "

I think @DarkAngel5 an/or @ShannonMac could help on this too...

thank you everyone :D

Thanks for your post, @CauriHawk. Peer Review has been a bit slow in general for the last few months. While the number of active users on IMVU has dropped due to seasonal and economic conditions, the number of product submissions remains high. Fewer reviewers means the Peer Review process can take some time. As a Creator, the most important thing you can do is to actually participate in Peer Review. Your own products will be reviewed faster if you participate in Peer Review. It won't process your own products immediately, but it will definitely speed up the process. VIP Creators can also contact us via Live Chat support if they would like to have their products reviewed more quickly. This exclusive to the VIP community though.
