Can we get an official classic update?

There is a blending glitch present on version 544.0 that has since been fixed in later versions.

it affects products that have composite blending enabled that are created with studio, they look "crusty" in classic client.

I have been advising customers to update classic, but obviously not everyone will message me with the issue and a lot of people will just pass over the affected products.

Can we get an official update so that this glitch is finally fixed for everyone?

Hi @MsPixelicious, Sorry for the confusion. I think we may be talking about two different issues. The fix I was referring to above was in response to the the OP. I think you may be referring to the issue you described in this post: https://cc.imvu.com/s/question/0D75d0000080A1uCAE/detail (?) This issue we actually have a fix coming which will be for the Next platforms. I hope this helps.

ummm youve lost me!

....for me, the argument is, the classic client came FIRST and as such, a MASSIVE collection of my clothing (built in the classic client) won't work in NEXT!

....what you seem to be saying is, NEXT is PERFECT, ergo nothing will change with NEXT but we WILL make changes to the OLD CLIENT to try and make it work WITH next!

and in any case, i've just downladed the lastest update and nothings changed!

the sheer textures i have in the old client WORK but dont in NEXT

thats my issue, transparencies that worked for YEARS in the old client DONT WORK the SAME in NEXT!

....for ME, it should be NEXT thats made to match the OLD client, not the other way around

The fix is only on the Classic Client because it was not following the same blending rules as Next. The fix is in version 544.6 and can be found here: https://www.imvu.com/download.php

Hiya all, Yeah. I was talking to TaunTaun about this, this morning. There "should" be a notification when client gets updated and we are not sure why 544.6 notification is not happening. FIY, there is another release pending that will be a force update that will fix a side effect of the the fix ^^ and will also make diffuse and opacity map texture dimensions compatible with Studio/Next.
