Hi, I got an error loading a room in imvu studio. I have been working exclusively in Studio, but I got the gray screen of death for about 36 hours. Now it's working. So within that time, I loaded a room into classic to dev from: https://www.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=17577271. Well, I'm not actually familiar with classic. So in the process of trying to figure things out, I deleted both meshes associated with this room. So upon trial and error (as I was learning and so didn't want to just close and reopen), I added the mesh again. But since I wanted a fairly dense fog, I found I liked the room very much without any materials associated with the mesh. So I left the room without any assets at all, figuring it might make for an even lighter faster loading room. it hasn't passed peer review yet because I keep editing it lol but I was able to load the room into both the classic client and the ipad Next app. And even though there were some differences and a few unexpected things, all of the rooms loaded fine (in fact there are 12 of them) on both platforms. In the meantime - I mean at the end of all of this, I managed to get studio running. All of the rooms were listed as I expected, but when I go to open the room, it won't open. It says it cannot read properties of undefined (materials). So I'm going to go back into Classic and see if I can fix this and hope I can get the same results. But if what I did is acceptable, perhaps a fix for Studio can be generated. I tried to submit an error report, but so far I've managed to get zero such reports to submit successfully.
Thanks for your hard work! After working in classic for a while I really missed studio.

Thank you @Drosselmeyer and sorry for the delay - I'm currently working in Asia ... and it was lunar new year! I have verified that the issue works, thank you very much!

Hi @Lexique, We just released Studio v1.16.3 which should have fixed the blank/empty texture picker pop-up issue. Let us know if you are still seeing the issue.

Hi @Lexique, For the blank texture picker issue, we have a fix that is pending and should be released soon.
As for the classic edit panel, not sure, I have never seen this. The classic client "does" do some funny business when two materials share the same texture, in that if you change the texture for one material, it changes all materials sharing the same material. I think this is by design, but I have no idea why anybody would want this. Before my time ;)

Thanks so much @Drosselmeyer ! I just wanted to mention that I've also had trouble editing the materials in studio once i can get it to a place to edit it. I don't always have this problem but once i do it seems that i can't fix it in any way. I'll give a picture of what I get. Sometimes I've been able to still filter the material and sometimes still add an opacity. but sometimes nothing works, I just get a directory path and that's it.
I will mention something else funny - you know i'm a noob and noobs break things that experts don't even think possible to break (I'm a programmer though) - I've spent the most time editing this ivory rose ambient. for some reason I had very little trouble with the dramatic purple, but i've had lots of trouble with the ivory rose. Something that has happened with both, though, is that in the process of readding materials, more often than not - this is in classic - suddenly the edit panel on the right hand side does a shiver. and it's like it's redoing all of the ambient/fog numbers, but in fact they stay the same. But the strange part is that then all of the materials for all of the mesh parts are then suddenly the same. If I edit say, the floor, the dome material (all of the materials, actually) becomes the same. for the Dramatic purple, I was editing it, and added materials to the flat plane, and then added a black opacity. but then it added that black color to all of the materials in the other mesh. So I deleted both meshes and started over with just the one mesh, the dome, and quickly saved. But to me it makes me wonder if there is not an issue in the classic or the mesh itself that is causing troubles, or at least adding to the issue. I had checked to make sure that the meshes had the right material assets listed and nothing seemed amiss.

Thanks @Lexique, Yeah I got the error when I do an edit, but not when I do a derive. We have a big fix coming which will hopefully straighten all this out (or it will break everything :D lol). Thanks for the PID. I will use this to test when the fix is being tested.

hello @Drosselmeyer , i'm so sorry i didn't think about someone trying to recreate the problem, and i hid all of the rooms that are faulty. however they are not faulty for the user because they work on all platforms. it's just that when i add back the materials it doesn't look the same. so the two that you could see i had already gone back into classic and readded the 2nd mesh and given both meshes materials. when I did this, i didn't have trouble. i have 12 rooms lol. because there aren't enough photo rooms on imvu? anyway i'm going through them one at a time so here is the last one, and you can use it to recreate the problem:

[Archived]Hi @Lexique, I was able to open your room in Studio. Can you try again? Are you opening it for edit from the Published section of your Home screen?
