lower the kbs on the png will load higher than jpg, but you can still make the items smaller than the boxes, little tip use the sharpen tool and contast to make a clear texture when lowering,

in classic client it does it all the time even if the file sizes are configured to the exact same file sizes on the mesh.. the only fixes ive come up with is resaving all the textures either from .jpg to ,png or vise versa renaming the textures and resaving everything. or completley deleteing the debug file which removes all previous textures that may have been added to the mesh usually means the product is a chain save upload product and all previous textures are also in the save file your trying to upload by deleting all the assets it clears any of the old textures and you start with a clean save you could also follow the chain of dervisions to get an earlier save.

I cosign with making sure that your textures are not bigger than the size allotted for the app.
I also suggest running all your textures through something to compress their file sizes. Kraken.io is my choice.

Yes, remember, if you are using Classic, the largest texture map dimensions we support are 512x256 (or 256x512). If you've used anything larger, our servers will bring it down to those dimensions. In IMVU Studio the largest file size currently is 512x512.
Also, if you publish through Studio, we allow up to 6mb for rooms. Hope that helps!
