I've updated to the newest version and I'm still having an issue with having to rename the opacity file when I want to make a change and upload the updated jpg.
Uploading a file with the same name does not reflect the changes made to the opacity. Instead I have to update a new file with a different name in order to get it to work. Which means that for one texture slot I can have upwards of 5 or 6 jpgs with slight tweaks for each one listed in the assets tab.

Quick update on my side, this does seem to have fixed it. The problem's not come back since I turned that off

Hmm, that seems to have worked. Or at least, I've turned it off and now the issue isn't happening. Can't say definitively if it's that setting or not but I'll let you know if the issue comes back.

@SirenaRoga Thanks for the update. We are still looking into this bug. Just by chance does turning off 'Optimize Previews' in Preferences change anything?

This seems to have been fixed with today's update. At least, so far so good.
Hi @SirenaRoga Thanks for the reply. Just so I understand, you are trying to update an opacity map with a texture that is named the same by selecting 'Add Image' in the Inspector panel > Selecting the image? If so, you should get a pop-up dialog box that says "Replace Existing file?" and if you click "Replace" it should update. Is it not? Can you provide a PID and the texture that you are trying to replace? You can send the texture to studio@imvu.com.

@Drosselmeyer just checked this now again, and it's still happening. Updated to the latest version and have the auto update turned on by default.
(I've also noticed that while textures do auto update, when 2 slots use the same texture, the thumbnail of the 2nd texture doesn't always update).

@SirenaRoga We just released an update and I would like to know if this is still occurring for you? Consistently or intermittently?
There is an "Auto Update Assets" feature which is accessible in the Preferences and I believe it is on by default. This will allow any assets edited from the project folder to be updated. You will see a green notification at the top of the 3d viewport and after you click Preview the asset should appear updated in the project. This should also work if you edit an asset outside of the project folder and then copy it to the project folder and replace the existing asset.

Yep.. been there, its not just you, drives me nutty as well. If staff see this can they also consider adding tick boxes to the asset removal section so we can remove multiple assets at once.

[Archived]Thanks @SirenaRoga I was able to reproduce this with one of your PIDs. I think you are not the only person seeing this issue: https://cc.imvu.com/s/feed/0D55d0000CaMGLKCQ4
