[Archived - IDiogo13] Why does the game crash every time i change an opacity, Does anyone have this problem or is just me?

Good afternoon everyone.

I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem as me when creating/deriving.

I've been creating tattoos and it only happens to me with them, and the problem is this.

I put the texture in the desired color with the correct measurements, after i put a first opacity nothing happens but when I put the secund opacity with the correct measurements the game crashes.

I've unistalled , reinstalled as the support said center and the problem still happens.

But does anyone have this problem?

This is the error that pops up when the game crasherro

@IDiogo13​ If you are still having the problem, it could be something to do with your Internet Connection. If you are on a mobile PC, notebook, laptop, etc. Take it to a different location or Internet Connection spot (friends house, library, coffee shop, etc). Test there.

The best source of support is from the person of which you are deriving. There may be an issue with the Mesh you are deriving from. The person can best help.

 

No one here can derive the same product you are deriving and test it for you. We have our own products we are working with. Talk to the person of which you derived.

I already clean the cache, uninstalled by going to %appdata% and delete the 2 folders, and installed again from the link that shows the repairs that client have recived.

And i can't do nothing to my store because this error keep showing up

Yes indeed, I didn't remember that I had already made a post about this, because it has been some time and I haven't received confirmation of reply to the post.

Regarding using simple filenames, I use the simplest one like chest1 or chest2

Thanks for the tip, but yes I'm using a derivable mesh from another creator.

I always confirm the sizes if everything, if I'm putting it with the exact size, the problem is that, i'm using mesh on the body, waist up minus the head and as soon as I put an opacity (chest) and when put the others parts the game crash

can't decode byte it means your file "png" can be limit.

  1. check sizes of your png upload (limit)
  2. check product mesh

solution

when making tattoos and opacity make sure the png file is not too large, when setting the opacity I recommend to make it in imvu classic client first then edit it in studio, try to make the product from other people's mesh derivation.

its my opinion, feel free to answer.

Hi @IDiogo13​ I see you have a similar question in the Discussions Here: https://help.imvu.com/s/question/0D54p00002b1LuwCAE/ Beyond what is recommended there, make sure your asset files are named simple names. Develop an asset naming convention to avoid special characters, spaces, symbols, etc. Stay with upper/lower Case Alpha Characters or simple Numbers with nothing else.

 

I you have issue with one product, contact the owner of that product you derive as it may have issues.
