Thanks. I posted a few follow up questions under another thread. Base on what I read (at least on accounts that IMVU initiates deletion on for violations) there is a period of time after the account is deleted that the products are still visible in the catalog. So probably I need more clarification on this point, especially because it could depend on differences in downgrade vs deletion of accounts, or even why the account was deleted.

Hey, @Jazzmine70761 Not to worry. If your Creator Tier Level goes down, this only shows a number next to your Creator Display Badges. The lower Creator Tier number also will make the derivation cost to make new things more expensive. Your catalog and all your products remain intact. Most worry about the Creator Tier Level to reduce the Credits cost of derivations.
On the other hand, if your VIP Subscription is canceled, your product catalog stays intact but is not searchable or visible to others. This is a problem for new shoppers finding your products. You must have a "middle" VIP Tier or greater to keep your catalog public. You must have this same "middle" Tier to make new products. You need the Platinum or Diamond VIP Tiers to maintain creating and the publicly visible catalog.
The naming of Creator Tiers and VIP Tiers is confusing. I understand this. It is to me too! LOL
Keep Creating. Maintain VIP Subscription. Talk about your products in public rooms. Ask others to visit your catalog. Give them the link. Anything you can do to keep the "Free Advertising" going is a Big Plus!

@LestatDeLioncourt What happens to creations if you later downgrade to the lowest tier? My understanding is I would not be able to create at that tier but don’t want to lose anything currently in my shop and want to be able to continue selling what I have.

Hi @Kareenaaa Anyone interested in becoming a Creator will find it much easier if you are already familiar with several things.
First, the Process of Becoming a Creator is outlined in this article http://im.vu/help453
Next, you will need to purchase and continue a subscription to VIP Platinum as described in this article http://im.vu/help983.
This is where access to Creator tools starts! IMVU thought it was a better process to include a Creator Subscription in the VIP,
rather than charge for both (it is included).
Also, is a good Graphics Editor. Many use programs like PhotoShop or the freeware program called GIMP. You can Google those.
Tutorials are freely available if you are learning any of those.
Finally, to keep your account in good standing, you will need to read and understand the IMVU Policies and Terms of Service.

Read Here: https://www.imvu.com/next/policyhub/termsofservice/ Take careful time in reading and understanding the
Virtual Goods Policy is located on that page. It is very important. All of this will keep your account in good standing.
Each of these is equally important. I highly recommend study of each, before taking the step of becoming an IMVU Content Creator.
