I downloaded imvu studio and picked a product but then I get stuck on the material/texture and diffuse images. I heard some people on youtube say they use gimp or photoshop to create these diffuse images.. but how do i do that when im unfamiliar with photoshop and gimp? Another person said on youtube that you can get the diffuse maps from the product information pages but most products in the shop doesn't provide these images so how am i supposed to make my own diffuse images to change the colors and textures of clothing that i choose to derive? Any help and guidance would be appreciated. I feel so discouraged and like i need to be a professional digital creator to even start.

Only to add to @kendalmilli Discussion, There will be times when you *need* to know Gimp or Photoshop, etc. It is a very good idea to take some YouTube classes for your choice of Graphic Editors. Just Google a few and pick a couple you like. The 15 minutes here or there is a wealth of knowledge :)
