lm starting this new journey as a IMVU creator but I’m so stuck in how I even begin. I love the decorating aspect of making a home feel like home. I have so many ideas of my own dream home but starting from scratch overwhelms me. Any advice would really be appreciated

@MrsLeeVito We have developed a tool for Blender, Maya, and 3dsMax which helps with all of the IMVU specific naming and organization. If you can already model and texture, I highly suggest visiting this page to learn about the toolkit plugin.

Thank you @LestatDeLioncourt I definitely would love to design furniture but at the moment I’m trying to figure out how to built a room but I’ll definitely start with something easier and build my way up

Of course, your individual furnishings can be sold one at a time too.
Do a Picture Frame to start those are easy. Some like this, maybe...

Hi @MrsLeeVito It sounds like you are a decorator! :) I would start with some furniture items as most are pretty simple. Do some Picture Frames and some other house decorating items.
Important, when getting started, derive your items from someone who is around often and answers questions. Many creators have things in the catalog for deriving but are no longer on IMVU or don't bother messaging people.
I would consider making some matching furniture items. When you have enough of them, you could decorate a Home or Club with them. The homes and Clubs can be sold as a "package" and already decorated.
