I know the "illegal file name" errors come from the Mesher using names not compatible with the system. Only the mesher can fix those. They recommended for quite some time to name assets with upper,lower case alpha characters and numbers. Some Symbols work fine such as the Dash or Underscore, the simple Brackets [ ] , etc. In general it is always better to stay away from symbols and especially; non-English or foreign characters. No high ASCII or very Low ASCII Characters.

yes you can Lestat but on my point view imvu specialist should the one to fix the system I doubt it if help can just fix these problem is not only me illegal file name chk those issues I guess that is from the system not manually fixing that can be good they have to dive to the system it was not complicated before I guess when they ask me to unistall and install again and %aap% that have wipe out my connection on imvu server to create since I cannot view all my products in the shop too on studio I cannnot create they can fix it if they look into their system and analyze why the error hoping they still fix it and pronto thank u

I think it is Staff Policy to ask permission. I always have given staff trusted permission to use my account to test for issues. But that is a personal choice. If Staff can duplicate the issue on "their side" it eliminateds your PC and Internet connection to IMVU Servers. *Then* they can fix is :)

( 1h 28m 7s ) Mylene: If you want, I can log in to your account then try the product using your account. how damn at help doing this maybe it will more accurate that they check the system the pc I am using now is the same when I have start to create 7 or 8 years ago I did many updates on pc but the crazy thing is imvu have made creating difficult on classic and on studio the same thing the create wont go thru I am sure what is happening but I guess still they are not vocal about it yet but soon another change to come then how creators can can do more with the difficulties and the system

yes Lestat I do understand you are helping out but the I guess these matter should be sort out of imvu itself then you should imagine how many more imvu user will create on imvu if these are happening to creator before was so easy to create just look for the product id then choose your texture nit is error coz it need to be created on imvu studio old product no create on imvu studio will have error file name in short cannot be created with these a lot cannot create anymore dont even know who handling creator now

Lestat this non sense is not going anywhere this is what the Help have Please follow the steps below: Click Start on the task bar, type %appdata% into the search box and press Enter. In the Roaming Folder, please delete the folders named “IMVU”and “IMVUClient” Once done, download the client version (Major Release 544.0 at http://www.imvu.com/download.php) Follow the Installation Log In to your 3D Client to me I did these the 5th time to do it I guess this not solution the system of imvu made it complicated if there no changes in the system it wont happen these not only happening to me saw few message in error in product then shut off the imvu classic nothing we can do fix the system

Okay, @HOKKI888​ I know there are two folders left over after uninstalling the Studio and Classic.

One is your projects folder. One is settings, etc. for Studio. Similar of IMVU Classic.

1. Uninstall with the Studio Uninstaller.
2. Backup & Copy any needed Assets you need from the Documents/IMVU Studio Projects/CreatorNumber Folders. Delete the Folders
3. Type %appdata% in Windows Search wait a few seconds and press Enter. Find the imvu-studio folder.
4. Click once and press delete on the %appdata%/imvu-studio folder.
5. Download a fresh copy of the Studio Here: https://create.imvu.com/imvu-studio-beta/

Please note. every Step is Important. Completely Delete Both Folders mentioned above.

You can follow similar for the Classic Create Mode. Substitute the Folders listed in the above steps...

Classic Folders to delete after uninstall are ...

%appdata%/IMVUClient

and

Documents/IMVU Projects

Simply put, uninstall Both Classic and Studio, completely.

Backup what you may need in the Documents Folder (assets).

Go to both Documents Folder and %appdata% Folder and delete anything that says "IMVU" in the Folder Name.

Download and then install a FRESH Copy of Studio and Classic. Here:

when I create on classic it load a product and crash me out on classic I cannot open my creation before in studio the derive button wont go thru in short cannot create on imvu studio and in imvu classic yes it work perfectly before I have 2800 products then how I can create now the system is out of bounce that is the very reason it show error in creating

Hi @HOKKI888​ Please give more information.

1. When you try to create on Classic, what happens?
2. When you try to create in IMVU Studio, what happens?
3. Did either of the two work for you, before now? What changed?
