There's so much file theft that pops up, and original owners can't seem to report them fast enough, so many of us end up deriving from the wrong people. I've seen duplicates enough to get a hint that there's something amiss, especially when the price is super low. Issue I'm having is that I'm starting to forget who the original owners are. I'm afraid to ask any creators I know incase they give me the wrong info by accident or deliberately, but I want to support legit devs and use my shop to push away the thieving ones. I imagine that imvu would have some sort of historical record of who was the first creator to submit a specific mesh or animation, that way I could at least track down if they sold it to file resellers, etc. I would really love to clean my shop out of rubbish and support legit. Any help?
