Don't know if the post is where it's meant to be, but I cloudn't find a specific category for it. For quite some time, specific users steal textures and meshes and performing a DMCA is a good thing, but just by hiding their products doesn't help at all. Why aren't users simply banned? I understand, maybe they stole 1 product and yeah it was a mistake and hide their product, but if you check those users, their entire shops are full of stolen products.
Also, their credits should be taken too, not to be kept. Some users reach top pages with stolen products and I believe that they can keep their credits even if the product is hidden.
Ofc if they see that their product is hidden, they aren't getting scared of doing it again, cause the fix is "hide product, keep credits". It's a win for them after all.
Most of the creators should understand this situation, specially when creating a mesh and struggleing with rigging. This is not cool at all.

Its not like the DMCA team completely ignoring us. There are a lot of users, for example Bequi who stole from me a lot of products, actually his/her shop is full of stolen products. I have sent over 6 DMCAs and explain to the DMCA team what the user are doing, including that they steal meshes from Sis3d, AquarianPrincess and more and guess what? DMCA team ignored me, they hide the reported products and the user is still active and stealing as before :) They stole the products and keep the earnings, lots of creators give up and IMVU is still wondering why creators leave. Of course we leave, there is no protection for the work we do.

Hi @akin The best course of action would be to send your feedback with the DMCA team at this address: dmca@imvu.com
Hope that helps!
