Hi @QueerQueen3​ The first step to making mesh for others to derive is to make other products and get very familiar with how deriving works. In this mannner, you will get a good understanding of using the Create Tools on IMVU, how to use UV and Texture Maps, etc. Also, you will learn; from the texture artist point of view, how things work. It is also very important to have a good knowledge of using graphic editors. The graphic editing tools are necessary to make UV and Texture Maps, testing the mesh, etc.

Once you have a good grasp of adding artwork to other products, you will need to learn and become most familiar with a 3d Mesh Editor such as 3d Max, Blender, Maya, etc. These are some used to make Avatar Clothing. Google these and see where to obtain them. Once you have sufficient skill level with these chosen software programs, you may begin to make things from scratch.

Clothing is probably the hardest thing to make so many begin with furniture, rooms or maybe accessories for avatars. There are many tutorials for each of these available on the Internet. The main thing is to get your skill level up with a 3d mesh editor as high as you can in order to make good quality products that will sell. The learning curve; on this process, from beginning to end is not an easy path.
