[Archived]Hi @TheCounselor IMVU is striving to maintain the Creator Tools System Requirements that coincide with the requirements of the Chat Client(s). Really a basic PC or Mac workstation should handle the Creator Tools provided by IMVU. I think where your system requirements may need adjusting for the Graphics Editor or Mesh Editor you choose. I would follow the guidelines provided by these editing software programs and the Creator Tools should take care of themselves.
Â
Currently IMVU has listed a basic system requirement of the following. I would recommend at least doubling these specifications as a Minimum for smooth operation. Check these...
Â
Windows Operating System:
Â
*Your graphics chip should be able to support at least OpenGL 2.0 in order to run IMVU Desktop, Web, or Studio. If you have an older chip (like HD3000), you may be able to download an OpenGL driver appropriate for your system.
Â
Mac Operating System:
Â
For Maximum efficiency; as a Creator, you will need to take this information and make choices for yourself. Doubling the recommend (not minimum) system requirements for your graphics and or mesh editors should give you a good starting place and room for future updates to those software programs. I also recommend a permanent backup for your product assets in a rotating backup format of removable devices or a network server with regular backups of similar style. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Baskets do get dropped :/
Â
I hope this helps.
