high contrast noise. so for the bottom one, zoom out to make the variations smaller, then increase contrast so they become blacker. useful also using the levels filter to give it that stark look. cuz the top part right now, it seems like u zoomed in with the texture so the blobs of grey and stuff are really big, zoom out so u make the blobs smaller, then use levels or contrast, to adjust to make the blacks blacker and whites whiter.
