I did not create these Texture Files and I am not the owner of these files.
These Texture Files were provided by IMVU Inc. some years ago and I downloaded them direct from the IMVU Website.
These Texture Files are untouched, unedited and provided in original format as given by IMVU Inc. in 2015
I have requested permission from IMVU Inc. to Distribute these here on their websites provided by IMVU Inc.
If IMVU chooses, these file may be removed if needed.

At one time, IMVU had in it's tutorials the basic "Strarter" or Example Skins. They were for each male and female and were designated 10° through 100°. I am pretty sure the ones posted on the Pixel-pusher website are direct from IMVU as permission was given.
It would be great if IMVU still linked these in their tutorial. At the least, beginning Skin Creators would have something to play with for learning :0)

Your best option for Maps is to get them from the person you are deriving products. Ask the Creator to give the maps. There are "Generic" maps available but these may or may not work with the product you are deriving.
I have searched and searched the Creator Center for Starter Avatar Skin Maps with no avail :/ I do know of a place you can get tutorials and the basic Skin Maps for download... Check this link here: http://pixelpusher.us/learn_texture_skin.html
I hope something here helps...
