Good morning folks. I have a few questions for our veteran creators here...

  1. In the Classic create mode, can you currently load new texture maps in a new material slot that contain extended ASCII characters in the file name? (e.g. ć,ë,ú, etc...)
  2. If you can't, had you ever been able to in the past?
  3. What happens in Studio if you try to do the same?

Thanks in advance for the answers!

It seems at "some time" extended characters were allowed as many trying to derive from mesh with allowed, extended give an error in Create Mode "Illegal Assets" and will not allow derive.

I know this has come up in Discussions before and perhaps someone gave a PID to test with., IDK.

The recommended for quite some time has been to name assets with upper, lower case alpha characters and numbers. Some Symbols work fine such as the Dash or Underscore, the simple Brackets [ ] , etc. In general it is always better to stay away from symbols.
