Ok, so I'm fairly new to using texture maps to design clothing and such. Recently I came across a dilemma. I found a summer outfit that I liked a whole lot. However, it came with long pants instead of shorts.

I have been trying to change those long pants to shorts now for hours and keep on failing. I guess perhaps I need to figure out how to make a shorts opacity map that doesn't have holes or anything and looks relaxed and not ripped for a slim female avatar. Any help that you guys could give me would be great. Thanks again.

If your making male ones thats were the problems are if you cut opacity maps in some of the male maps they do leave a hole in the avatar, you will have to hunt down a good map they are hard to find.

Hi @MrJayseDillon Making Opacity Maps can be tough. Sometimes the Mesh won't allow some changes to the Opacity as it cuts into the avatar, shows empty, etc. etc. The best support from any product is to discuss it with the person you are deriving. The mesher would be the one with best tips. Beyond this, you may try searching YouTube or other resources for "Opacity Maps with Paint 3D".

IMVU has a generic tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aq1phmm5Yc

I hope something here helps...
