Is it attached to a specific node? If yes, can a mesher decide where that node will be placed on a furniture item? I want to know if it would be possible to arrange it in a way where our view follows an animation correctly so we can feel like we're riding a roller coaster!

Currently, I have to constantly adjust and reposition our view manually with the mouse cursor in order to "follow" and it's not really... kenough.

thx

depending on software you create in and if using UMVU-ToolKit, anytime you place a .node (sitting, standing or idle) you'll get 3 more boxes with it. 1.Handle 2.Pitcher 3.Catcher. Playing with 2 and 3 will set default camera placement as soon as avatar landed on a node. Good Luck

It might be possible if you install a camera with light on the avi itself, then you would have to create a new avi for this job.

not icon. Actual animated furniture product that isn't us watching our avatar move, but feeling like we are the avatar moving... meaning our view is out of the eyes of our character to get that first person experience :D

I'm asking my friend to try this on her existing Sushi Racer meshes :> I honestly can't wait and hope it works! She called it a "First Person Shooter Outlook" so... that just makes me imagine that products who do this can appeal to many other types of users :>

So while meshing, there IS a setting to connect where our camera attaches to the product?

Yes, it does all of this. So far the default view makes us look at our avatar from far away using furniture. I was hoping we could control where our view spawns without having to manually readjust with our mouse cursor/keyboard features. If we can make a rollercoaster simulator, I think that would bring a lot of fun here!

What do you mean by "icon"? Product Icon?

Camera will always follow the avatar. Without try it, I am pretty sure the behavior is that you can rotate the camera but as soon as you pan the camera it breaks from the avatar and you are in "world" mode until you click on another seat. This behavior may differ between classic and next apps. It has been awhile since I looked at this.

I think you should first turn the product in the right direction before you save and upload it because the camera rotates. with the product

Hey @DiamondBones I have not tried it as of yet but, in theory, if a person attached a Camera Node to the animated bone then the Icon Generator of Studio would follow the avatar for the moment (when you open the Icon Generator). I believe a Still shot would be given in the animation sequence. Try it! ???

I would attach a Camera Node to the part of the Model you want to capture. I do this now and it works fine and generates the Icon of that area. (mostly) - LoL

The correct names are:

Furniture.Camera.1

Furniture.Camera.2

Furniture.Camera.3

Furniture.Camera.4

Cal3D would appear something like this...

<BONE NAME="Furniture.Camera.1" NUMCHILDS="0" ID="101">
