I’m creating a mesh to add on to a derivable hairstyle but in blender I have no option to export it as an XMF file, only an FBX file is available. How can I export my mesh to an XMF file so I can add it on to the hair? Thank you!

Hello, FBX exporting and importing is the way to go. Once you import the FBX file into creator, or preferably studio, you can utilize parts, or all of the items within the import.

Good Luck, and don't give up.

Hi @Fiancee FBX is the best support for newer versions of Blender. If someone has the old Ca3D exporters for Blender, they will need to go back to older versions of Blender and they are not compatible.

Take a close look at the new Blender Tool Kit in the Creator Education Center and the detailed instruction gives.

The Tool Kits can be downloaded Here: https://create.imvu.com/articles/studio/toolkit/

Q&A for the Tool Kit is located Here: https://help.imvu.com/s/question/0D54p00002VEs1qCAD/

I do hope this helps...
