[Archived - Leone] Hi all! I would like to learn how to add a mesh on a derived head so I can make the eyes 2 tone. Could someone explain to me how it is?

[Archived]Hi @Leone The easiest way to do this is to derive a mesh with 2 tone eyes, already. Making your own will require skill in a 3d Mesh Editor such as Blender, 3d Max, etc.
You would derive from an IMVU Head and add a material for one of the eyes in a new head mesh. Making a "functioning eyes" mesh by adding a mesh would be almost impossible. The one eye will use a different UV Map than the first as it had been "remapped". By making a new head, the shape of the head should conform to generic/standard head attachments (eyelashes, eyebrows, etc). Makeup would be a concern for some heads.
For many reasons I rate this project as a very advanced mesher project as it must be derived from a head, skill with adding new materials to the head and concern for the customers who buy it for product compatibility.
I hope this helps.
