Are there any plans to put an end to this insanity? I often see dozens of irrelevant comments, spam, automatically posted on any feed posts, images and texts. When someone posts a text saying anything, those bots say "model" or "stylish" or "gorgeous" etc. which has nothing to do with the post.
I discovered that blocking those "200k followers" and similar types of bots and spammers reduces those nonsensical spam comments on my feed posts, but blocking won't always stick. Quite often I see them again, and I see "block" instead of "unblock" when I open that small profile menu.I sometimes block the same spammer 3 times on the same day. Why is that? It must be a bug.

"Is anyone from IMVU actively trying to find a solution?"
Probably not: they need the facade of actual users, in order to dupe their investors (and customers) and keep the money flowing.

I’ve been blocking every spammer I come across and there have been loads of them. Does anyone know if there is a maximum number of people you can have on your blocked list? Heaven knows why IMVU don’t fix this. Being able to remove spam messages posted on our feed would be a start.

You are quite right Kanjiirahini I raised a ticket about the problem and got exactly nowhere. I included a screenshot like your’s to illustrate the problem but I was told they couldn’t consider that. They kept telling me the only way they would respond was if I flagged individual spammers even though I kept telling them there are 100s of them so I gave up. I hope you have better luck if you raise a ticket

for anyone who somehow doesn't know about this issue, this screencap of just ONE of my posts will sum it up.
OF ALL 45 OF THE COMMENTS, 42 OF THEM ARE FROM BOTS, ALL COMMENTING STUFF LIKE WHAT IS VISIBLE IN THE SCREENCAP, ADDING NOTHING OF VALUE.
THE ONLY 3 NOT MADE BY BOTS ARE 2 COMMENTS FROM MYSELF AND 1 COMMENT FROM A FRIEND.

Of course IMVU won't do anything about that. they're too busy adding a "chat tool" that censors AP users in their private AP rooms, public AP-only rooms, and private messages between AP users. you heard that right! imvu is focusing on implementing something a grand total of ZERO users wanted. this has been an issue for months, if not YEARS, and IMVU does nothing about it. and detecting bots is so damned easy, too. if an account only comments stuff like "Stunning!", even on a post that is only text, there's a 99.9% chance that account is a bot.

This was raised over a month ago, there have been many posts about the issue and still not a word from an IMVU staff member? This has to be disappointing

17 comments from people fed up with this issue, all moderated before being included, and still not a word from an IMVU staff member. That is very disappointing

@RedRobin: If you're willing to get on a computer and use the Feed on NEXT - you can right click/tap any comment and click "delete" or report to get rid of it. I usually just delete them and then block the person to remove their comments and not get more.

I don't even understand their purpose, this isn't like the other types of social media where you can get paid to have a following ... but this is getting annoying and there isn't much we can do it.
But a lot of us are tired of it. I hate having to block so many people, I enjoyed having a near empty block list ... now I'm getting worried there is a limit I'll hit but I hate all my posts getting "OMG GORGEOUS!" and comments that don't help or look good.
Friend posts about depression and needing support? "Omg you're gorgeous" "Yaaaas Queen" ... those don't help and bury actually caring commentary.
I want feedback on my work or to answer questions about my pictures, not to be told what an inspiration I am on every other post.

Can an IMVU staff member please tell us what is being done to stop this problem?
I assume they actually read what we post because it is moderated before it appears on the topic

REMOVE BOTS: I found I can remove them perm. First block them then delete them. Most of those only change the number on their account but use the same name like this one use name mother... it uses mommy with different numbers.... They just come back with a new account so its a waste of time and pisses the real people off Like it isn't enough to have all the flaws on imvu that they never fix... but now this crap
