I remember there was a POST about this when Discussions was on the old platform/host. ShannonMac posted it ...
I am having problems even locating this... Anyone have a clue where it has gone? This glitch has shown up again... Annoying FYI.

Hi oxPrincessLeighxo,
Thanks for taking your time to contact us regarding this matter. I'm Edmon. I'm glad to help you.
I would like to inform you that we have recently had an update about rooms owned by inactive IMVU users. This change actually has been applied to users who had not logged in to the client in the last 90 days. All their rooms were closed. To summarize, rooms were closed for:
1. All users who were disabled for more than 30 days 2. All users who had not logged in to the Client within the last 90 days.
If disabled users are enabled and log back in to the Client, they will be able to manually set the closed room to Open. The same goes for the other group. If a user who had not logged in for the last 90 days logs in to the Client, they will still be able to manage their room.
To change the room status:
Go to the Client >> Go to Chat room >> then go to Manage chat rooms>> Click the room that you want >> then click Edit >> After that change the "Room Availability" to Open>> click save.
Or you may simply create a new room.
We have a library of Help Articles available on our website. To find answers to your most important questions, just go to http://im.vu/help-articles.
Sincerely,
Edmon IMVU Customer Support

Hey again, staff told me that it's best to contact customer service for the issues you have so the engineers can review for you on this problem, she couldn't locate it as well. https://support.imvu.com/support/tickets/new
