DTOD and Discover

For the majority of the month of March, DTOD seems to have been placed on the back burner for Discover. The VU Parties seem to have taken precedence. DTOD submissions may not see Discover for hours (5-8 hours, typically). Then there may only be 10-20 DTOD features compared to the 50+ per VU Parties feature.

VU Parties, as it isare a bone of contention with many users who complain that they're unable to get one of the ten coveted live spots or are kicked out of the party room for whatever reasons. Even then, there are also complaints that it's the same users, ad nauseum, being selected with mediocre snaps. It's no wonder favoritism is being suggested. Certainly makes IMVU look ugly and unfriendly.

Speaking for myself, I don't bother to participate in VU Parties due to connectivity issues. This leaves me with participating in DTOD and WOC. I can spend many hours (and credits) to give my best efforts on just a single picture, only to be disappointed. But, hey! I'm an adult! I get over it really quick and try again another day. Sadly, though, there are ones who try and try, never make it to Discover and ultimately quit IMVU on the premises of favoritism. Oh, let me be fair, there are a plethora of reasons for users to quit the APP: hackers, bots, technical and site issues, being ignored by customer service, etcetera.

Now, I'll get off my soap box and let this sink in.

Agree wholeheartedly. Imvu is supposed to be a social network, but the parties have devolved into a means to get on the Discover feed and little more. Parties, in and of themselves, are great ways to meet people, but, by posting mediocre party pics (mine included), it places getting discovered over meeting others. Which is a shame, because there are some great hosts and party guests.

And nine hours for no DTOD pics to be posted is excessive.
