eyeball on textures

I created two dresses in the creator mode. The dresses look fine until I add different eye textures. When I add the eyes, the eye texture appears on the outfit. If I don't use any eyes, the item remains fine. This poses a problem for other users who buy the product and want to customize their avatars. What am I missing or doing wrong that could correct this issue?

Hello,

From your description, it sounds like your dress may be sharing the same texture or material channel as the eye asset. When this happens, any eye texture applied to the avatar can also appear on the clothing.

This is usually caused by one of the following:

• The mesh was derived from a base product that includes eye material references.

• The UV mapping overlaps with another material zone.

• The dress is using an incorrect material ID or texture slot.

• The product was not derived from the correct clothing base.

To fix this, I recommend:

Double-check the base product you derived from and make sure it is a proper clothing mesh (not including head or eye materials).

Verify that your material IDs and texture slots are assigned only to the dress.

Review the UV map to ensure there is no overlap with other body parts.

Re-derive from a clean clothing base if necessary.

This issue is typically related to material configuration rather than the eye product itself.

I hope this helps.
